This was painted during the first month of shelter in place. I really wanted this painting to celebrate the courage, love and solidarity echoed across the world. However, emotionally, I wasn't there yet. I’m working through some complicated emotions. I hope in some way, this depicts courage, solidarity and also honors what we have lost.

Inspiration
I read a post on a friend’s Facebook wall that looked at the emptiness (on the streets, in airports and train stations, at stadiums), that negative space, as an outpouring of love. As a community coming together to show how much we care about one another. This inspired me to paint this piece.
