ABUNDANCE

Exploring endless possibilities within a limited palette.

This black and white series was born out of the shelter-in-place experience during COVID. I remember reading a post on a friend’s Facebook wall that completely shifted my perspective: it described the empty streets, stations, and stadiums not as signs of fear, but as expressions of love—a quiet, collective act of care.

That stayed with me.

Inspired by that thought, I turned to painting as a way to explore what can be created within restriction. Working in black and white became a metaphor—embracing limitations, stripping things down, and still finding depth, movement, and meaning. These pieces are my response to isolation, to stillness, and to the unexpected beauty that can arise when we are forced to pause.
